It’s like Hoovering your carpets with a vacuum.
Jacuzzi is a brand name yet has become generically
categorised by the Hot Tub industry as a
description for a hot tub or whirlpool.
Hydrotherapy jets in hot tubs use a principle
that was first patented by Roy Jacuzzi in 1968.
A vented constriction in the pipe near the jet
injects air into the water stream. The amount
of air is adjustable to provide controllable
hydrotherapy.
When the Jacuzzi brothers' patents ran out in
1976 the American Hot Tub industry exploded,
using the Jacuzzi designed jet. Manufacturers
like Master Spas improved and enhanced the Jacuzzi
jets to provide the ultimate hydrotherapeutic
relaxation. This new generation of jets using
the Jacuzzi jet principle have been integrated
into the advanced and sophisticated, industry
leading hot tubs we produce today.
Today people commonly refer to 'having a jacuzzi'
when they use a hot tubs on a cruise ship or
in a health club.
With the growth of the hot tub industry and
over 200,000 UK homeowners now having a hot tub
in their gardens and homes, people are recognising
them as the hydrotherapy, health-benefiting tubs
of fun they are.
